2019 - Senior Season

Appeared in 12 games and made 11 starts at linebacker • Set career highs with 60 tackles, six TFL, 2.5 sacks, four PBU and four QBHs • Had five tackles, two QB hurries and one PBU in season debut against Miami • Registered four tackles at Wake Forest • Had five tackles, two TFL and one sack against App State • Registered five tackles and one QBH against Clemson • Had five tackles at Virginia Tech • Had six tackles against the Blue Devils • Became the first UNC player since Zach Brown (2011) to force a fumble, record a sack and have an INT in the same game against Duke • Had seven tackles, one TFL and a half sack against Virginia • Came up with seven tackles and two TFL against Mercer • Had five tackles at NC State • Recorded six tackles and a pass breakup in the Military Bowl victory over Temple.

Appeared in 10 games, starting eight, at linebacker • Tallied 47 tackles, a half sack, 3.5 TFL, three pressures and four PBU • Opened the year with five tackles, a TFL, a pressure and three PBU • Recorded eight tackles, a half TFL and a pressure • Added five stops and a pressure versus Pitt • Made two tackles at Miami • Notched eight tackles and a TFL against Georgia Tech • Racked up nine tackles, a half sack and a PBU at Duke • Added two stops versus Western Carolina • Posted eight tackles and a half TFL against NC State.

2017 - Sophomore Season

Appeared in seven games and started the season finale at NC State • Finished the season with seven tackles (five solo) • Also combined on a tackle for loss • Matched his then career high with three tackles (two solo) against the Wolfpack.

2016 - True Freshman Season

Played in all 13 games • Finished with 12 tackles and a sack on the season • Made a season-high three tackles vs. The Citadel • Assisted on a tackle at Duke • Made one tackle in the win at Miami • Had two tackles in the win at No. 12 Florida State • Made one stop in the comeback win over Pitt • Played well in the win over JMU and jump-started the team’s defensive effort with a 9-yard sack in the second quarter • Had two tackles in the win at Illinois • Made his college debut against No. 18 Georgia primarily on special teams.

Rated the No. 38 outside linebacker in the country by Scout and ESPN • Ranked the No. 4 outside linebacker in Florida by Scout • Also considered the No. 48 outside linebacker nationally and the No. 77 player in the state of Florida by Rivals • PrepStar All-Southeast Region • Named first-team class 3A all-state as a senior at Trinity Christian • Member of the Orlando Sentinel Super 11 • Helped lead Trinity to a 14-0 record and the FHSAA 3A state championship • As a senior, had 54 tackles (33 solo), 15.5 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, seven quarterback hurries, broke up 10 passes, recovered two fumbles and forced four fumbles • Coached by Verlon Dorminey.
