A four-year veteran along both sides of the line • A member of two state championship teams • A three-time all-conference performer • Tallied 292 tackles and 29 sacks, while producing a 94% success rate in blocking during his prep career • Named the conference lineman of the year as a senior • Served as a team captain • Posted 106 tackles and 10 sacks, while grading out at 97% on the offensive line • Was an all-state selection on defense as a junior • Recorded 103 tackles and nine sacks, while producing a 93% on offense • Added 83 tackles and 10 sacks as a sophomore • Also played basketball for four years and golf for two years • Served as a team captain for basketball as a senior • A member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club and FCA • Was a Superior Honors graduate and an NC Scholar graduate • Coached by David Gentry.
