Played football three years and soccer four years at Hendersonville High • Coached by Bruce Hatfield • Named all-state as a senior • Selected all-region as both a punter and place-kicker • Holds the Tennessee state record for most career field goals with 24 • Kicked a career-long field goal of 52 yards • Two-time all-county • Averaged 41 yards per punt in his career • 85 percent of all kickoffs went into the end zone for a touchback • Played on 1998 soccer team that won the state championship • Named all-district in soccer in 1999 and 2000 • Member of FCA and Beta Club.

Everest • First thought of Coach Bunting, “This will be different.” • Greatest athletic moments were kicking a game-tying field goal with no time left and then a game-winning field goal in overtime against his rival high school • Can play the trumpet • Went to Aruba during the summer • Has focused on improving his flexibility • Enrolled in the General College.
