2006 - Senior Season

Exciting, big-play wide receiver • Played in every game and became the Tar Heels' starting "Z" receiver •Finished second on the team with 30 catches for 456 yards and two touchdowns •Hauled in a season-high five passes for 66 yards in the Continental Tire Bowl against Boston College • Made four receptions for 67 yards in a 40-17 win at Duke • Three of his catches were third down conversions and the other was a 34-yard catch at the Duke 12-yard line that set up a touchdown • Had two catches for 63 yards, including the game-winning 45-yard touchdown catch with 36 seconds remaining, in a 31-24 victory at Wake Forest • Got behind the Demon Deacon defense and hauled in Durant's perfectly thrown pass to score his second touchdown of the season • Caught two passes for 10 yards against Virginia Tech • Had four receptions for 55 yards, including a long of 17, in UNC's 31-28 victory over No. 4 Miami • Suffered a mild fracture in his hand but continued to play against the Hurricanes and has not missed a game because of the injury • Caught three passes for 40 yards, including a long of 23 yards at Utah • The 23-yard reception set up a touchdown from the 1-yard line •Had three receptions for 43 yards in a 30-24 win over NC State, including a 23-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter •Caught a 25-yard pass against Louisville • Made two receptions for 26 yards against Georgia Tech • Grabbed a 15-yard pass for Durant in between two defenders for a key first down on a UNC scoring drive in the third quarter • Caught two passes for 26 yards at Virginia • Had two catches for 35 yards in the win over William & Mary.

One of 12 true freshmen to see playing time • Played in all 12 games and saw action on 281 snaps • Had 12 receptions for 168 yards and two touchdowns • Also had a tackle on special teams • One of 10 Tar Heels to catch at least 10 passes • His first two receptions were touchdowns, a 26-yard TD catch at Wisconsin and a 24-yard score at NC State • Made three catches for 43 yards against Virginia • Had a season-high four receptions for 42 yards at Maryland • Caught a 21-yard pass at Georgia Tech.
