2003: Junior season
Played in all 12 games at either defensive end or tackle • Started the season-opener against Florida State • Finished the season with 16 tackles, including 13 primary stops and three assists, three tackles for losses of 14 yards, two sacks for 13 yards, four quarterback hurries and three pass breakups • Had two tackles at Wisconsin, one primary and one assist • Registered three tackles, including two primary and one assist, at NC State • Registered a two-yard sack in the win over Wake Forest • Had a season-high five tackles against Duke, including two tackles for losses and an 11-yard sack.

2002: Sophomore season
Played in all 12 games and made his first career start at defensive end in Carolina's win at Syracuse • Made 10 starts • Finished the season with 38 tackles, including 27 solo stops and 11 assists • Also had four tackles for losses and two sacks • Made a career-high six tackles at Wake Forest • Had his most productive game at Virginia with four solo stops, one assist and a 13-yard sack • Made four tackles (all solo) against Maryland • Tied his career-high with six tackles, including a six-yard sack, in the 23-21 win over Duke.

2001: Freshman season
One of only two true freshmen to play in every game and one of seven true freshmen to see playing time • Was a top reserve at defensive end and was on thekick protection special team •Finished the season with eight tackles, including five solo and three assists and one tackle for loss • Had his best game at Texas, registering four tackles • Had tackles at Maryland, Clemson and Georgia Tech.
