A four-star prospect listed as the nation’s 248th-best player, the No. 13 running back and the No. 16 player in North Carolina in the 247Sports Composite • Tabbed as the nation’s 223rd-best player, the No. 9 running back and the No. 15 player in the state according to ESPN • Ranked as the No. 27 running back in the nation and the No. 23 player in the state by Rivals • A member of the ESPN 300 • Amassed 1,901 rushing yards and 22 TDs over his final two prep seasons • An SI All-America candidate and team captain prior to his senior season • Tabbed first-team Sun Journal All-Area and Coastal 3A all-conference as a junior • Helped Havelock to an 11-2 record, a conference title and a berth in the second round of the playoffs • Posted 1,402 rushing yards and 17 TDs to go along with 263 receiving yards and two TDs • Also returned a kickoff for a TD • Claimed second-team all-area honors as an all-urpose player as a sophomore • Tallied 499 yards rushing and five TDs • Also added 445 yards and three TDs on kickoff returns and 33 tackles on defense • Also played basketball from freshman through junior years • Coached by Allen Wooten.
