2018 – Junior Season

Appeared in 10 games, including nine starts, at quarterback • A member of the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Watch List • Went 201-of-325 (61.8) for 2,169 yards and 11 TDs • Threw for 137 yards and a TD, while rushing for 58 yards at Cal • Added 219 yards passing at ECU • Earned one of the “Stars of the Week” honors from The Manning Award after going 22-of-31 for 313 yards and two TDs against Pitt • Went 11-of-15 for 147 yards and a score versus Virginia Tech • Posted 321 yards and two TDs on 34-of-52 passing at Syracuse • Notched 271 yards passing and two TDs on 22-of-38 at Virginia • Went 27-of-41 for 221 yards and a score at Duke • Racked up 308 yards and two TDs against Western Carolina.

2017 - Sophomore Season

Started the final three games of the season and appeared in five games • Tossed 10 TDs and finished with 926 yards on 75 of 146 attempts • Also had 134 rushing yards • Started the season finale at NC State and finished with three TDS and 278 yards passing after a 21-of-45 performance • Started for the second straight week and tossed four first-half TDs in the win over WCU • Finished the day 18-of-28 for 240 yards while adding 42 rushing yards on 10 carries • Making his first career start, completed 20-of-31 passes for 235 yards and two TDs in a win at Pitt • Completed 16-of-39 passes for 173 yards and a score against Miami • Also rushed 21 times for 79 yards against the Hurricanes and caught a pass for 33 yards in his first appearance of the year.

2016 - Redshirt Freshman Season

Named the backup to Mitch Trubisky after an impressive training camp • Connected with Thomas Jackson on a 9-yard pass play vs. The Citadel • Completed 5-of-6 pass attempts for 30 yards, including a long of 20 yards to Jordan Cunningham, in a 56-28 win over James Madison • Saw his first career action late in the fourth quarter of Carolina’s 48-23 win at Illinois • Redshirted in 2015.
