Joined the team as a walk-on in 2003 and will compete for the starting deep snapper position this spring • Played for coach Mike Carter at Mooresville High School • Participated in football, wrestling and track • Earned 12 varsity letters • Named all-county in football, all-conference in wrestling three times and all-conference in track twice • Son of Barclay and Debbie Marsh • Has a younger brother, Jordan • Pretended to be Jim Kelly as a kid • Born John Patrick Marsh on June 1, 1984 • Wears a 1993 Mooresville t-shirt under his pads during games • His uncle, Richard Ford, played basketball at Duke • Exercise and sports science major.
