2008 - Junior Season
Played in 12 of 13 games, primarily on special teams and as a reserve defensive back • Had one tackle at Maryland • Assisted on one tackle in the 28-7 win over No. 22 Georgia Tech • Posted one tackle in the 45-24 win over No. 23 Boston College • Recorded one tackle on special teams vs. Notre Dame • Posted two tackles and broke up a pass in Carolina's 38-12 win over No. 24 Connecticut • Had three tackles, including two primary stops, in the 44-12 win at Rutgers.
2007: Switched from running back to defensive back in the middle of the season and saw his first action at Wake Forest • Finished the season with 13 tackles, including 10 primary stops • Played in nine games, including four at tailback and five at cornerback • Before moving to defense, he rushed for 32 yards on 13 carries and had four catches for 30 yards • Posted four tackles in the win over Duke • Had one tackle at Georgia Tech • Posted three tackles at NC State • Played well in the win over Maryland, making three tackles • Posted two tackles against Wake in his first action as a cornerback • Had a four-yard reception vs. Virginia • Rushed for 30 yards and added a nine-yard catch at ECU • Caught two passes for 17 yards, including a long of 12, and carried five times for two yards in Carolina's 37-14 victory over James Madison.
2006 - Freshman Season
Played in five games on special teams and as a reserve tailback • Had one carry for -1 yard, two receptions for 24 yards and one special teams tackle • Both receptions came at Miami, including a season-best 19-yarder • Redshirted in 2005.
