An early enrollee who is a four-star prospect ranked as the nation’s No. 146 player in the ESPN 300, the 10th-best pocket passer and the No. 3 player in the state by ESPN • Was a team captain and all-conference performer • Also an all-state academic honoree • Went 33-5 in three seasons as the starting quarterback • Threw for 7,325 yards and 76 TDs during his four-year prep career, which were both school records • Posted 2,599 passing yards and 22 TDs during his senior season • Notched 2,601 passing yards and 30 TD passes as a junior • Added 1,549 passing yards and 16 TDs in nine games as a sophomore • Also played power forward on the basketball team and third base and pitcher on the baseball team • Was an all-conference baseball player • Coached by Matt Jenkins.
