 Has improved steadily throughout his career  Has good size for the position and can move well  Is one of three starters returning on the offensive line  Earned "Super Ram" status in the weight room in 2003 and "Iron Ram" honors in 2004  Holds UNC records in the vertical jump (33") and long jump (9'-5") by an offensive lineman. 
2003: Junior season
 Started all 12 games at left tackle and had his best season at Carolina  Was healthy for the entire year  Was third among offensive linemen with 718 snaps, an average of nearly 60 per game  Helped Carolina revive its running game as the Tar Heels rushed for over 150 yards per game, its best mark since 1995  Played a season-high 86 snaps against Syracuse. 
2002: Sophomore season
 Switched from right tackle to left tackle, playing in 11 games and starting 10  Did not play against Wake Forest due to a concussion  Played 782 snaps, an average of 71 per game  Played a season-high 88 snaps at Syracuse. 
2001: Freshman season
 Played in all 13 games and started 10, including the Peach Bowl  Made his first career start in the season opener at Oklahoma  Was part of a young Carolina offensive line that started three sophomores, one freshman and one fourth-year senior against the Sooners  Became the first Tar Heel freshman to start on the offensive line since Jeff Saturday started at center in 1994  Played 639 snaps, an average of 53 plays per game  Played a season-high 80 snaps against Oklahoma  Redshirted in 2000. 
Scotland County High School
 Played for Coach Mark Barnes  Led his team to a 7-5 overall record and third place conference finish  Two-time all-conference selection  All-Cape Fear Region and All-Piedmont Area selection  Participated in the Shrine Bowl  Also competed in track and field, throwing the shot and discus.

 Born Willie Terrence McNeill on May 29, 1982  Has one older brother and one older sister  Favorite athlete is Lawrence Taylor  Favorite NFL team as a kid was the Green Bay Packers Would like to switch places for a day with DMX  Greatest moment in his athletic career was receiving a scholarship to come to Carolina  Enjoys cooking  Majoring in African-American history.
