Born James Courtney Brown on Nov. 16, 2005, in Aurora, Ill. • Son of Marcia Smith-Brown and Courtney Brown • His dad played football at Howard • His cousin, Corey Brewer, won NCAA titles at Florida in 2006 and 2007 and played 13 seasons in the NBA • Exercise and sport science major in the sport administration program.
