Personal: Born Jarin Quincy Stevenson on Oct. 15, 2005, in San Antonio, Texas • Son of Jarod and Nicole (Walker) Stevenson • His father scored nearly 1,500 points at Richmond (1994-98), played international basketball and was a member of the South Korea National Team • His mother played basketball for the Tar Heels (1994-98) under head coach Sylvia Hatchell • Her teams won 27 or more games three times and ACC Tournament titles in 1995, 1997 and 1998 • His uncle, Greg, scored 1,125 points in two seasons at Richmond • Both his dad and uncle are inductees in the Richmond Athletics Hall of Fame • Exercise and sport science major in the sport administration program.
