High School: Attended Carrboro High School where he played lacrosse for coach Ron Mitchell...All-Conference selection...captain his senior year and impact player award winner...played on a state championship team there...helped lead Carrboro team to first-ever wins over Orange County rivals...played club lacrosse for Carolina Cannons and Carolina Hilltoppers...active in community service (Appalachian Service Project, wheelchair basketball fundraiser co-founder)...worked basketball camps and officiated lacrosse for younger kids.
Personal: Andrew Montross is the son of Eric and Laura Montross...was born April 25, 1998 in Detroit, Mich. ...has a sister Sarah, 16...his father played basketball at Carolina from 1990-94 and was a member of UNC’s 1993 NCAA championship team...undeclared major.

My favorite thing about wearing Carolina Blue is the family.
I love competing for this incredible coaching staff because they will fight for me.
My best friend on my high school lacrosse team was Brandon Richardson.
Every high school recruit should dream of becoming a Tar Heel because everyone has each other’s back.
Section #2: Your Interests
An ideal Saturday afternoon in the summer is spent hanging out with close friends.
My teammate with the best taste in music is Timmy Gehlbach because of his feel good music.
My favorite professional sports team is the Carolina Panthers.
The foreign country I would love to visit most is Ireland because I’ve heard it’s amazing.
Section #3: Food
My favorite tailgate foods are BBQ, sweet tea and Dr. Pepper.
My favorite fast food restaurant is Chick-fil-A because of the chicken sandwiches and milk shakes.
Sweet, salty or both? Both.
My favorite food made by a relative is my grandmother’s chicken pot pie.
My favorite Chapel Hill dining spot is Al’s Burger Shack.

If I possessed the gift of time travel, I would go to the 1992 Olympics to watch the Dream Team.
