Will Fox, a 2018 graduate of Fairfield University, is in his fourth year as a volunteer assistant coach after joining the University of North Carolina men’s lacrosse staff in August 2019.
Fox graduated from Fairfield with a B.S. in psychology and a minor in health studies. While at Fairfield, he played lacrosse for the Stags from 2015-18. Fox was a two-time second-team All-Colonial Athletic Association in 2015 and 2016 and was also the CAA Rookie of the Year in 2015. Fox's other accolades from his collegiate career include Fairfield's Male Freshman Athlete of the Year in 2015 and Fairfield's Alumni Association Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2018. Additionally, Fox was a candidate for the Senior CLASS Award in 2018 and received a Scholar All-Academic nod from the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association in 2018.
Fox was drafted by the Chesapeake Bayhawks in the 2018 Supplemental Draft of Major League Lacrosse. That same year he was named a U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar All-America.
Fox is second all-time at Fairfield University in career face-off wins, face-off win percentage, and ground balls. He also ranks eighth all-time in the CAA for career face-off wins and 12thall-time in the CAA for Career face-off winning percentage and ground balls.
