Coming off injury, he didn't play last fall, but I think he'll be a guy that can really get us better at the X in practice.
General: Returning letter winner in the midfield...No. 3 on the face-off depth chart...6-0, 205-pound athlete.
2011 (Freshman): Played in two games last year against Presbyterian and Lehigh...took one face-off in each game...named to 2010-11 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Prep: Played at Flint Hill School in Oakton, Va. ...coached there by Adam Rice...team MVP...honorable mention All-Metro selection...was rewarded with first-team All-Northern Virginia distinction...named to the All-Conference Team as a junior and senior...was his high school's all-time leader in goals, points and ground balls...led team to four successive conference championships from 2007-10...his squad made it to the quarterfinal round of the Virginia state tournament for the first time in school history in 2009...played for a trio of club teams -- Team Blackwolf, Nova West Crusaders and adidas All-American Washington Team...merited President's Community Service Award...won the Student-Athlete Award and Science Department Award...named to the Headmaster's List all four years.

1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel lacrosse player is the sense of family you get from the team.
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach Breschi is his enthusiasm.
3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is ripping lefty on the run.
4. My best friend on another college lacrosse team is John Rehberger (Washington and Lee).
5. My greatest strength as a lacrosse player is my pinch and pop.

1. Away from the lacrosse field and academic pursuits I like to spend time hunting.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is Red.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be golf.
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Nikki Minaj.

1. After a game at Fetzer Field, I'd like to see a tailgate spread that included wings and Caesar salad-trying to watch my weight.
2. My favorite beverage is homemade root beer.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is my mom's chicken.

5. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is firecracker popsicles.
