General: Fourth-year junior who practiced with the team as a freshman but did not play in 2000, retaining four years of eligibility...then saw action as a reserve and as a valuable practice player each of the past two years...will look for playing time in the defensive unit this season...converted to defense after playing midfield in high school...played high school lacrosse for current Tar Heel assistant coach Greg Paradine. 
2002 Season: Saw action in one game last season against Delaware.
2001 Season: Saw reserve action in one game last season, playing against Pfeiffer...had one ground ball in that game.
2000 Season: Red-shirt season. Prep: A June 5, 1999 alumnus of Chapel Hill High School...played midfield on the lacrosse team there for four years...a two-year forward on the basketball squad...also played football as a freshman as a running back...led lacrosse team to Pac VI conference championship and North Carolina public high school title in 1998...captain of team in 1999 and a four-year starter in the midfield...All-State and All-Conference selection in 1998 and 1999...a high school All-America as a senior...National Honor Society member.
