General Information: Three-year letterman who has really come into his own as Carolina's top backup attackman...a valuable member of UNC's extra-man offense unit...has scored on an uncanny 63 percent of his shots during his Carolina career...he has 17 career goals on 27 shots...younger brother of UNC midfielder Brian Mehm, who played at Carolina from 1994-97...is also the nephew of former Tar Heel lacrosse player Joey Yevoli who played at Carolina in the late 1970s and was an All-America selection...one of the top scholar-athletes on the UNC team...carries a 3.446 cumulative grade point average while majoring in pyschology and minoring in business administration.

1999 Season: Developed into a valuable member of the UNC team...carved a niche as the Tar Heels' extra-man offense specilaist...scored a career high five goals while taking only seven shots in the win over Air Force...was 2-2 against Loyola and 2-3 against Colgate as well...snatched five ground balls in the win over Colgate...also had goals against Maryland, UMBC and Duke in the ACC Tournament...scored on 60 percent of his shots...was a member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll for the third year in a row.

1998 Season: Played in six Carolina games, including an ACC game against Virginia...had one goal each against Navy, Princeton, Stony Brook and Ohio State...finished season with one assist which came against Stony Brook...also had two ground balls and one takeaway... had a 1.000 shot percentage, scoring on all four of his shot attempts.

1997 Season: Played in seven games for the Tar Heels ...scored his only goal against Radford...had two ground balls versus VMI...won four of eight faceoffs against Delaware.
