Milt's a great leader.
He's a guy who is back for his fifth year. He's a great student.
He's just been a terrific leader for the younger guys on the team.
Coming off of multiple surgeries in the last year, we're hoping he can contribute mid-spring.
General: Three-year letter winner who missed the 2011 season after suffering a torn ACL in the fall of 2010...has undergone multiple surgeries as he seeks to return to the field in 2012.
2011 (Senior): Missed the 2011 season after suffering an ACL tear in a scrimmage against Loyola in October 2010...tapped for 2010-11 ACC Academic Honor Roll...a spring 2011 Dean's List designee...a Veteran Leader in the Carolina Leadership Academy.
2010 (Junior): Was Carolina's top long-stick midfielder in 2010, playing in all 16 games...had a goal and two assists...scored against Ohio State...had assists against both Maryland and Johns Hopkins...produced the game-winning assist in 9-7 victory over Maryland...had 33 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers...had a career-high five ground balls against Virginia and four against Maryland as well as three each against Johns Hopkins, Robert Morris and Ohio State...caused a season high two turnovers against Duke and Robert Morris.
2009 (Sophomore): Saw his playing time increase dramatically as a sophomore...played in 14 games as a long-stick defensive midfielder...had 15 ground balls and three caused turnovers...had a season-high for ground balls with four against Virginia and also had three versus Ohio State...scored a goal in the ACC Tournament championship game versus Duke and had an assist against UMBC in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
2008 (Freshman): Played in three games as a freshman, seeing action against Bellarmine, Duke and Marist.
Community Service & Leadership: Was a Rising Star in the Carolina Leadership Academy in 2008-09...has qualified as a Veteran Leader in the Carolina Leadership Academy in 2010-11.
Prep: A 2007 alumnus of Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Mass....was coached in lacrosse there by Chip Davis...was a four-year letterman as a forward on the ice hockey team...four-year letter winner as a cornerback on the football team...on the lacrosse field, he was a four-year letterman as a long-stick midfielder...was captain of the football team his senior year...on the lacrosse field he led the team to New England prep school championships as a sophomore and senior...led football team to New England prep school title his sophomore year...led football squad to an undefeated season as a senior...named to All-league Team and was nominated for defensive player of the year.

Section #1 (Lacrosse Related)
1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel lacrosse player is being a part of this close lacrosse family.
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach Breschi is he truly cares about each player and has a strong love for competition.
3. Since last year the aspects of my training I've worked on the most are mental toughness and my lefty rip.
4. My best friend on another college lacrosse team is Matt Lovejoy (UVA).
5. My greatest strength as a lacrosse player is ground balls.
Section #2 (Milt's Interests)
1. Away from the lacrosse field and academic pursuits I like to spend time doing logic puzzles.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is MacGruber.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be ice hockey.
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Childish Gambino.
5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is I like to try and cook stuff I see on the Food Network.
Section #3 (Food and Beverage)
1. After a game at Fetzer Field, I'd like to see a tailgate spread that included chicken, ribs, hot sandwiches and some of Mrs. Hunt's crab dip.
2. My favorite beverage is strawberry milk.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is mom's smothered anything and grits.
4. My favorite place to eat in Chapel Hill is Franklin Street Pizza and Pasta.
5. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is chicken taquitos.

1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I'd like to go to Jan. 13, 1973, THE greatest team in football history wins Super Bowl VII.
2. My most prized personal possession is my footed PJs.
3. If I could go to dinner with a famous person it would be all three Wayans brothers.
4. My dream job is a secret agent.
5. The most interesting person I've met at UNC is Steven Rastivo since he always makes me look good.
