Breschi on Kissick: Zach Kissick was injured in the fall but we hope to get him healthy so he can help us in the spring.
2017 (Freshman): Played in a pair of games, seeing action against UMBC and Dartmouth on Tar Heel team which won ACC title.
High School: Attended Dallas Jesuit High School where he was coached by Chris Surran…was team’s overall and offensive MVP...first-team All-Conference as a senior...All-State selection as junior...offensive MVP and All-District selection as sophomore...as a first-year high school player, he was named All-District, Rookie-of-the-Year and Freshman All-District...led squad to 2016 Texas high school championship...played on a variety of club lacrosse teams - Iron Horse, Long Island Sting and Brady’s Bunch…played for Iron Horse club team where he was coached by Chris Swan...participated in SASO (Scholars and Athletes Serving Others) and YMSL (Young Men’s Service League) throughout high school…helped special needs kids in Special Olympics for YMSL.

Personal: Full name is Zachary William Kissick...the son of Erich and Lesley Kissick...was born October 24, 1997 in Pittsburgh, Pa….family now lives in Colleyville, Texas ...communication studies major with a minor in entrepreneurship...has two sisters, Emily, 28, and Hannah, 24, and a brother, Luke, 23…active in community service through Special Olympics helper, food drives and Secret Santa.

My favorite thing about wearing Carolina Blue is the tradition and pride behind the University.
I love competing for this incredible coaching staff because they pour their heart and souls into this program.
My most underrated strength about my lacrosse game is my shot.
My best friend on my high school lacrosse team was John Michael Priddy and he is now playing at Michigan.
Every high school recruit should dream of becoming a Tar Heel because of the great balance between athletics and academics.
Section #2: Your Interests
An ideal Saturday afternoon in the summer is spent somewhere outdoors or traveling.
My teammate with the best taste in music is Tanner Cook because he listens to all genres.
My favorite professional sports team is Juventus.
The best movie I’ve ever seen on a lacrosse bus trip is Crazy, Stupid, Love.
The foreign country I would love to visit most is Italy because of its scenery.
Section #3: Food
My favorite tailgate food is hamburgers.
My favorite fast food restaurant is Chipotle because it’s delicious.
Sweet, salty or both? Both.
My favorite food made by a relative is any meal made by my Mom.
My favorite Chapel Hill dining spot is Med Deli.

If I possessed the gift of time travel, I would go to New York City in the 1920s.
The person in history I would most want to have dinner with is Steve Jobs.
People would be very surprised to know I love to read.
In a quarter century I would love to be living in either Boston or Europe and working at a great company.
The most interesting or fascinating person I’ve met in my time at UNC is Tanner Cook because he says the weirdest stuff.
