As a Junior
Competed on the vault, uneven bars and balance beam • Was in the vault lineup for eight meets and competed on the balance beam in three meets • Consistent performer on the balance beam, scoring a 9.750 on all three occasions • Also competed on bars in the EAGL Championships on March 22 • Posted four top ten finishes on the vault and two on the balance beam • Finished off the regular season with a career-best score of 9.800 on the vault against Auburn on March 13 • Selected to the All-EAGL Scholastic Team for the third straight season.
As a Sophomore
Competed on vault, uneven bars and balance beam • Was in the bars lineup for all 11 meets • Consistent performer on bars, scoring a 9.700 or better in seven of 11 meets • Scored a season-high 9.775 on four occasions, including a third place finish vs. Towson on Feb. 28 • Posted a career-best 9.800 on balance beam and finished fifth at NC State on Feb. 15 • Scored a 9.750 on beam in the season opener at home vs. NC State and at Maryland on Feb. 21 • Had a season-best vault score of 9.600 at William & Mary • Selected to the All-EAGL Scholastic Team for the second straight season.
As a Freshman
Selected to the EAGL All-Academic team • Competed in every meet on balance beam • Also was a regular in the uneven bars and vault lineup • Competed on floor in just two meets • Had her season-high score on vault with a 9.600 at home against George Washington and on the road at Maryland • Posted a season-best 9.800 on the balance beam to finish second in the home meet vs. Maryland • Showed steady progress on the uneven bars and posted season-highs of 9.800 in back-to-back meets against Oklahoma and Penn.

What is the best thing about being at UNC? Meeting so many amazing people. My teammates, roommates and other friends are something I will keep forever, even when I leave UNC
Away from gymnastics and my academic pursuits, I like to spend time… shopping, baking and hanging out with friends
My greatest strength as a gymnast is... having fun and staying positive
Biggest sports thrill and why? My first college meet. It was fun and it went by so fast. I had no idea what was going on most of the time
Person who had the greatest influence on your career and why: Looking up to the "Big Girls" when I was little and to the captains when I was an underclassman
Favorite Book: 50 Shades of Grey
Favorite Food: Breakfast. I am a big fan of breakfast for dinner
Funny or interesting fact about yourself: I have no ACL's in my knees
Favorite class at UNC and why: PSYC 245 (Abnormal Psychology). I found everything so interesting
At what age did you first start participating in gymnastics and what is your earliest memory of gymnastics? Age 3. I can't remember a time I wasn't doing gymnastics
The funniest nickname on the team belongs to: We call Christina Pheil "Feel" even though her last name is pronounced "file"
