Why Carolina?
I committed to UNC because I know the competitive environment is like none other and will push me and make me a better player. I feel like I’m just scratching the surface in terms of reaching my potential and I really think the coaches will play a huge role in getting me to the next level. The pool of national team and professional players they have produced is unbelievable and it’s an honor to have the opportunity to play for a university that has such a legacy. It’s also like a family, which is something that’s important to me. I was also blown away after seeing the campus. The facilities are amazing. I was also happy to see they had my intended major, exercise and sport science. There’s so much to like about the program at UNC. My goal is to be on the U.S. National Team and UNC has been very successful in producing players that have been given that opportunity. Another goal I have is to win a national championship and UNC has done that time and time again. Ultimately, I felt that UNC was the best choice for me looking at my long-term aspirations. I am grateful to play for and be a part of a dynasty and play for some of the winningest and most successful coaches.
