2017-18: Competed in all three diving competitions at the ACC Championships, finishing 12th in 10-meter platform diving, 19th in the one-meter springboard and 22nd in the three-meter springboard with respective scores of 278.40, 277.05 and 277.65 • Set a new personal record in one-meter diving at the Purdue Invitational after scoring 314.80 for eighth place in the A final.

2016-17: Shared the David McInnis Award as the most improved diver on the Tar Heel team • 2017 NCAA nationals qualifier as a freshman • Placed 14th at ACC Championships in platform diving with a score of 267.70, 18th in three-meter diving with 289.60 points and 22nd in one-meter diving with 265.20 points • Finalist on the 10-meter platform event at the U.S. Diving Summer Nationals in August 2017 in Columbus, Ohio, taking 12th place with 296.75 points • Qualified for the finals with a fifth place finish in the semifinals where he scored 348.55 points • Placed seventh in 10-meter platform diving at 2017 NCAA zone diving meet with a score of 661.15 while also qualifying in three-meter diving • Captured second place in platform diving competition at Hawaii Diving Invitational • Seventh in 10-meter platform diving at 2017 GAC Invitational.
