CAREER
Scored 532 points and made 98 of 263 three-pointers (.373) • Scored in double figures 18 times • Ninety-five of his 178 field goals were three-pointers (.534) • Had the 19th-highest three-pointer percentage by any Tar Heel with 98 or more three-pointers • Assist-error ratio of 1.8 to 1 (156/86) • Scored his 500th career point in his final career game at the Smith Center on 3/3 vs. Wake Forest • Played in 130 games, including 36 as a freshman when UNC won the national championship.
SENIOR SEASON (2019-20)
Carolina’s third-leading scorer at a career-high 11.8 points per game • Led the team in three-pointers with 59 (2.5 per game) and three-point percentage (.369) • Scored in double figures twice in 106 games over his first three seasons and in 16 of 24 games as a senior • Scored 20 or more three times – 20 vs. Yale, 27 vs. Clemson and 29 vs. Miami • Became the first Tar Heel to ever score 25 or more points twice and 20 or more three times as a senior after not scoring 15 or more in his first three seasons • Made five or more 3FGs six times with a high of six vs. Miami • Made three or more 3FGs 14 times, including seven straight games from UCLA through Miami, which tied the second-longest such streak in UNC history (eight in a row by Donald Williams in 1993 and seven by Dante Calabria in 1996) • Career-best 7 for 7 from the FT line at NC State, including 4 for 4 in the final 50 seconds after UNC had missed its previous five FTs • Averaged 30.2 minutes a game (previous highs were 3.4 points in 11.8 minutes per game as a junior) • Played 30 or more minutes 16 times (played 20 or more minutes twice in his first three seasons with a previous high of 21 one time as a freshman) • Led UNC in assists five times • Improved his free throw percentage from 66.7 percent through three seasons to 82.5 as a senior.
Missed nine games due to injuries – the first four games of the season due to a sprained right ankle he suffered in the exhibition game on 11/1, the Virginia Tech game on 1/22 due to neck soreness after a car crash and four games after he sprained his right ankle against Boston College on 2/1.

Averaged 3.4 points in 11.8 minutes per game (played 13.2 minutes per game in ACC play) • Made 49.4 percent from the floor and went 23 of 50 (.460) from three-point range • Made 23 of his 42 field goals from three-point range • Three-point percentage improved from .391 as a sophomore to .460.
2018-19 Game Highlights: Had nine points, four rebounds and three assists in Sweet 16 vs. Auburn • Made two threes vs. the Tigers, the fifth time this season he made multiple threes • Seven points, four rebounds and two assists in ACC quarterfinal win over Louisville • Three assists at BC • Hit two threes and scored eight points at Wake Forest • Three assists and a block in 20 minutes at Louisville (most minutes this season, most in his career in an ACC game and most in any game since he played a career-high 21 against Long Beach in the third game of his freshman season) • Scored seven points in 18 minutes of action in front of 40 family and friends in Atlanta, when the Tar Heels beat Georgia Tech on 1/29 • Tied his career high with four assists at Miami • Career-high three three-pointers, all in the first half, in the win over Notre Dame • Nine points against the Irish were an ACC career high (six as a freshman vs. NC State and last year vs. Clemson) • Played 16 minutes without a turnover at NC State, hit a second-half three-pointer and blocked two shots • Five points and a career-high three steals at Pitt • Made a pair of threes and scored seven points vs. Davidson • Tied his career-high with four assists and had two steals against UCLA • Scored a career-high 11 points on 4 of 5 shooting from the floor against Saint Francis.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2017-18)
Averaged 1.7 points in 8.6 minutes per game • Played 10 minutes in the ACC final vs. Virginia • Gave Carolina its first lead with a three-pointer in the ACC quarterfinal win over Miami • Went into the game with Seventh Woods and three freshmen with UNC trailing 14-0 and sparked a seven-point run that got the Tar Heels back in the game • Three-pointer gave Carolina a 10-point lead in the first half at NC State • Scored five points and won his first defensive player of the game award in an ACC-high 15 minutes at Virginia Tech • Played his best game in ACC play at home against Clemson as he hit two first-half three-pointers and added a pair of assists and a steal in the 87-79 win • Scored just two field goals in the previous eight games • Scored in double figures for the first time as a Tar Heel with 10 points against Western Carolina (first time he made two threes in a game) • Then-career-high eight points, all in the first half, in the win at Davidson • Subbed into the game with the Wildcats leading by four and exited five minutes later with UNC leading by three • Five points and a career-high six rebounds in 15 minutes against Arkansas • Returned to action against Portland on Thanksgiving after missing the Bucknell and Stanford games due to a sprained shoulder, an injury he suffered against UNI on Nov. 10 • Had three assists and was 2 for 2 from the free throw line in 16 minutes against Northern Iowa • That was his longest stint since he played 16 minutes against Monmouth in the final regular-season non-conference game in 2016-17.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2016-17)
Played in 37 games at the ‘2/3’ • Averaged 7.6 minutes per game (4.6 in conference play) • Had 28 assists and 14 turnovers • Scored on a drive to the basket in the first half in the win over Duke • Five points in 12 minutes at Miami, his longest outing in ACC play • Made his first ACC three-pointer against Virginia Tech • Six points in six minutes vs. NC State • Had two steals at Clemson • Scored six points vs. Northern Iowa • Scored six points, had three rebounds and three steals in 17 minutes against Tennessee • That was more points than he scored in the previous four games combined • Tip-in basket with 50 seconds to play gave Carolina a 72-69 lead and provided the eventual winning points • Kept alive a missed shot that led to an offensive team rebound just moments before his put back basket • Hit a three-pointer, had two steals and was part of an earlier 8-0 run that gave UNC its first lead in the win over Davidson • Led Carolina with four assists and two blocks vs. Chaminade • Left the game in the first half after getting hit in the face by an elbow; received three stitches in his lip at halftime but played nine minutes in the second half • Hit key three-pointer in the win at Hawai’i after the Rainbow Warriors pulled to within a point • Sank 4 of 5 free throws and scored a season-high seven points in 22 minutes vs. Long Beach • Minutes increased at the ‘3’ when Justin Jackson played at the ‘4’ with Pinson and Maye out with injuries • Made his first field goal attempt, a three-pointer, at Tulane.

Played for Coach Hollis Bethea III at Douglas County High School in Douglasville, Ga. • Averaged 23 points, 5.3 rebounds, nearly four assists and two steals as a senior • Region 3-AAAAAA Player of the Year as selected by the coaches, Georgia Coaches All-State, Douglas County Player of the Year and first-team All-Metro Atlanta in 2016 • Earned second-team USA Today all-state honors • Two-time all-region, all-county selection • Also won Atlanta Journal-Constitution Class AAAAAA and Douglas County Sentinel Player of the Year honors as a senior • Junior 6-A player of the year as a junior • Career totals included 1,485 points, 412 rebounds, 301 assists, 129 steals and 101 blocked shots • Two-time captain • Made four straight trips to the state playoffs • Regional champions as a freshman • Led his Georgia Stars AAU team to the 2015 Nike Peach Jam title • Received a National Scholar-Athlete award as a senior • Honor student all four years.
