A member of the UNC staff since 1998, Dana Gelin serves as Director of Athletic Communications for Women’s Basketball and Field Hockey. In that role, she oversees media relations and brand management for those two teams while creating content and serving as a liaison to other external units for those two sports.
A 1990 graduate of Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in communication, Gelin worked as a sports writer for the Nashville Banner and as a writer-reporter for Sports Illustrated before joining the UNC staff.
