- I chose UNC because of the many opportunities it has to offer, and the way this school excels in both academics and sports stood out to me. The positive atmosphere in the gym as well as the coaches’ ability to provide an environment that I would not only grow, but thrive, in was what helped me make the decision for UNC as my home away from home.
