Carolina volleyball head coach Mike Schall announced the addition of assistant coach Jack Stevens to the Tar Heels' coaching staff in August 2023.
Stevens arrives in Chapel Hill after earning his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from The Ohio State University in 2023. Stevens was an outside hitter on the men's volleyball team at Ohio State from 2020-2023, serving as the Buckeyes' team captain.
Among his many accomplishments while in Columbus, Stevens was a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and OSU Scholar Athlete and was named to the Academic All-Big Ten and MIVA Academic All-Conference teams.
"I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to join this staff and work with the amazing group of women we have in the gym," Steven said.
"I know that there are special things ahead for this team and I can already feel the family atmosphere and closeness of this group. Carolina is a place rich in tradition, and I am looking forward to beginning my coaching career in a place as a special as Chapel Hill with the amazing people who are part of this program."
