Head coach Joe Sagula announced the addition of former Carolina volleyball player Meghan Neelon to his staff in August of 2022.
Neelon, a 2021 graduate of the University of Alabama, played her final season of college volleyball with Carolina in 2021 as the team's starting setter. The Buffalo, N.Y., native, who will serve at the Tar Heels' technical coordinator this season, tallied nearly 1,000 assists and 25 blocks last season, running the Carolina offense.
Neelon is currently pursuing her master's degree in sports administration from UNC.
