Catherine Miller began working at UNC in June 2025 as an athletic trainer/physical therapist working primarily with the football program.
Prior to returning to Carolina, Miller worked at Princeton University from 2019-25. She was the coordinator of physical therapy for the general student population and the coordinator of rehabilitation/athletic trainer for student-athletes. Miller served as the athletic trainer for the men’s squash, women’s squash, women’s lacrosse, men’s water polo and men’s lacrosse programs at Princeton.

Miller earned a bachelor of science degree in athletic training from Florida Southern College in 2014, a master of arts degree in athletic training from the University of North Carolina in 2016, and a doctorate in physical therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2019.
At UNC, Miller worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the men’s lacrosse and track & field programs. She has also completed student internships at Stanford University and Exos.
A native of Naperville, Ill., Miller lives in Chapel Hill and enjoys cooking, reading, working out and taking care of her plants while at home.
