Tar Heel Softball is 2-2 After Weekend Tournament

UNC split its four games in the North Carolina Fall Collegiate Fastpitch Tournament in Raleigh last weekend. On Friday, the Tar Heels beat Radford 5-0 (with freshman pitcher Michael Parrott earning the win) and lost to Virginia Tech 2-0. On Saturday, Carolina lost 2-1 to South Carolina-Spartanburg and finished out the weekend with an 8-0 win over UNC-Charlotte. Junior pitcher Radara McHugh earned the win in that game.
The Tar Heels will wrap up their fall competition on Thursday with a double-header against Louisburg College. The games begin at 3 p.m. and will be played at Finley Field.
