Clemson tied the score at three in the bottom of the first, scoring three unearned runs off Snare. Both Brian Ellis and Boyd scored on Eareys three-base error on a ground ball hit by Kurt Bultmann. Derek Borgert later drove in Bultmann with a sacrifice fly.
