Senior wide receiver Greg Harris caught three passes for 63 yards, including a 31-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Luke Huard, as the "Blue" team defeated the "White" squad, 9-0, Saturday at Kenan Stadium in the University of North Carolinas annual spring football scrimmage.
The only other score came on the final play of the one-hour scrimmage when linebacker Sedrick Hodge sacked quarterback Kevin Carty in the end zone for a safety.
Huard, a red-shirt freshman, completed eight of 16 passes for 101 yards and the touchdown. Sophomore quarterback Ronald Curry guided the "Blue" offense and was two for seven for 18 yards and an interception.

Safety Antwon Black and linebacker Tim Burgess each had a game-high four tackles. Safety David Bomar had an interception, defensive end Julius Peppers returned a fumble 22 yards, and defensive end Joey Evans helped the "White" team preserve the shutout as he forced a fumble near the goal line that the "White" defense recovered at the 1-yard line.
Head coach Carl Torbush announced four award winners as spring practice concluded. Fullback Deon Dyer and linebacker Brandon Spoon were named Most Outstanding Players on offense and defense, respectively.
