Youth Basketball Camp This Week

Former University of North Carolina assistant men's basketball coach John Lotz will conduct a two-day youth basketball camp in conjunction with the Chapel Hill Police Department. The camp is Wednesday, August 4, and Thursday, August 5, at the Chapel Hill High School Gym.
Lotz, who coached at UNC under Dean Smith for eight years, was the head coach at the University of Florida. In his time as Smith's top assistant in the 1960s, the Tar Heels won four ACC championships and made four appearances in the NCAA Final Four.
Lotz is currently in his 20th season as Assistant Athletic Director for Community Relations.

The camp begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 3 p.m. on the 4th and 5th.
