Jason Capel
"It feels good to get our first game out of the way against a good team. We just have to get back to work now and get ready for the regular season."
"Those guys are pros, they are playing for a pay check, they are playing for their families. They played hard and very physical. It was a good test for us. We did some good things and there are some corrections that we have to make."
Brendan Haywood:
"It felt pretty good, for the most part we played pretty hard. We're lacking a little in execution but as long as we give it 110 percent it's all you can ask for."
"We still have some things that we need to iron out, some wrinkles that we don't have ready yet. We have a new coach and that's to be expected."
"It's good to play against guys that are professionals. They compete well, and you don't get any better competing against teams that aren't up to your skill level."
Joseph Forte:
"I think that we played pretty well. We need to block out and take better care of the ball."
