Brendan Haywood's last second dunk powered the 13th-ranked Tar Heels to a 70-69 win over previously unbeaten and fourth-ranked Wake Forest Saturday evening at the Smith Center.
Haywood led Carolina with 24 points and 10 rebounds, while Joseph Forte scored 15 and Ronald Curry added seven assists.
