Andre Williams: "It was an awesome game. We came out on top. The last three weeks, we had in our minds that we had to finish in the fourth quarter. We played a great game and I'm glad the season has turned around for us. They tried to clog the middle so we had to spread the defense. The outside was working so we took what we could get.
Willie Parker: "I thought we'd have a better record, but we have a great team and we have to keep it going from here.
"I'm happy we played this game, because there was a lot of talk about who's the best in the state. I think we went out and played our hardest and showed everybody that we can compete. We're showing people we can play with the best."
Kory Bailey: "It was a tough game. They came in here fired up. They went out and established themselves early, especially with the run. We stuck together and stayed strong with the idea that we were going to pull it out and make some plays to get it done.
"They were giving us so much in the passing game, we weren't able to establish a running game early on. We felt comfortable with what we were doing, so we just went out and executed.
"ECU relies a lot on pressuring the quarterback to take pressure off their defensive backs and we were able to get some good pass protection and get time for Darian and Ronald to throw the ball around."
Derrick Johnson: "It was probably one of the biggest (plays of the game). It was my best play as a collegiate career."
Ronald Curry: "I feel like it was. I feel like we were always in control, and even when we made mistakes we overcame them. I feel like it was one of those games where it was clicking. Even when we didn't get points on the board, we had nice drives. That's something the offense has to do and not go three-and-out to help the defense."
