Here's some of what's said on Thursday's show:
Woody: Carolina-State is a rivalry like we've said before, Coach, which attracts statewide attention, but I think Carolina -Duke gets the attention of an entire nation. There's been about as much pregame hype as there is going to be this week, hasn't there?
Doherty: Yeah, and it's great. It's kind of neat that we are both undefeated. It's great for the league, it's great for college basketball. Hopefully it'll be a great game and I'm looking forward to it.
Woody: This was starting to be rekindled as one of the best rivalries in college basketball at the time you were here and right after you left because Coach Krzyzewski I think, arrived as a coach at Duke about the same time you got here as a player.
Doherty: Sure did. My freshman year, I believe, was his first year of coaching and that's when Gene Banks was a senior and Kenny Dennard and they went through a couple of down years because he had to revive the recruiting efforts, but he certainly did and has been doing it for a long time since.
