Spellman Named ACC Lacrosse Player Of The Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina's Paul Spellman was named ACC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week Monday.
Spellman, a freshman goalkeeper from Cockeysville, Md., helped the Tar Heels defeat defending Patriot League champion and 19th-ranked ucknell, 12-3 in Lewisburg, Pa.
UNC avenged a 2001 loss to the Bison as Spellman allowed just three goals while making 12 saves in his second career start. He finished the game with a .800 save percentage.
