Men’s Lacrosse Falls At No. 10 Princeton, 11-9

PRINCETON, N.J. – Princeton closed the game on a 3-0 run, securing an 11-9 victory over No. 2 North Carolina, Sunday afternoon in men's lacrosse nonconference play.
How It Happened
• Dominic Pietramala scored the Tar Heels' lone first-quarter goal midway through the period, as the host Tigers lead by one after one, 2-1.
• Princeton open the second with back-to-back goals, leading 4-1 with just over 12 minutes remaining in the half.
• Carolina halted the Tigers' momentum less than three minutes later, as Owen Duffy fed James Matan on the Tar Heel goal.
• Following a Princeton score, the Tar Heels closed the half with back-to-back goals courtesy of Duffy and Luke Bair, as the Tar Heels trailed after 30 minutes, 5-4.
