Nikki Teasley Honored At Senior Day

Tar Heel point guard Nikki Teasley was honored Sunday in Senior Day ceremonies prior to UNC's matchup Duke, Carolina's final game of the regular season. The only senior on this year's roster, Teasley will finish her outstanding career at UNC listed among the program's all-time leaders in scoring, assists, steals, three-pointers and free throw percentage. She holds the school record for assists and ranks second all-time in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Recently named to the ACC's Silver Anniversary Team, she was MVP of the 2000 ACC Tournament and has been named to the All-Tournament team every year of her career. She began her Carolina career as the 1998 ACC Rookie of the Year and has gone on to become just the second player in conference history to total 1,500 points and 600 assists.
