In week seven of the 2003 NFL season former University of North Carolina football players contributed to their respective teams by way of the defensive game.
rian Simmons, in his sixth season with the Cincinnati Bengals, had three tackles, three assists, one sack and one fumble recovery in the Bengals' 34-26 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
Tied for second in interceptions with four, Dre` Bly of the Detroit Lions, had one assist and one fumble recovery and a subsequent 67-yard run for a touchdown in Detroit's 38-7 loss to Dallas.

Sam Aiken, Buffalo Bills- substituted at Wide Receiver in Buffalo's 24-7 victory over Washington.
Ethan Albright, Washington Redskins- played at the Long Snapper in Washington's 24-7 loss to Buffalo.
Dre` Bly, Detroit Lions-started at Cornerback and had one assist and one fumble recovery and a subsequent 67-yard run for a touchdown in Detroit's 38-7 loss to Dallas.
Alge Crumpler, Atlanta Falcons-started at Tight End and had two receptions for 37-yards and one tackle in Atlanta's 45-17 loss to New Orleans.
Ronald Curry, Oakland Raiders- substituted at Wide Receiver and had two tackles on special teams in the Raiders' 17-10 loss to the Cheifs.
Russell Davis, Arizona Cardinals- Open Date.
Kevin Donnalley, Carolina Panthers-started at Offensive Guard in Carolina's 37- 17 to Tennessee.
Ebenbzer Ekuban, Dallas Cowboys- started at Defensive End and had one tackle and one assist in the Cowboys' 38-7 victory over Detroit.
Greg Ellis, Dallas Cowboys- started at Defensive End and had one assist in the Cowboys' 38-7 victory over the Lion.
enardo Harris, Baltimore Ravens- Injured Reserve.
William Henderson, Green Bay Packers- started at Fullback and had two receptions for 15-yards and one touchdown, one kickoff return for nine yards, and one tackle on special teams in the Packers' 34-24 loss to St. Louis.

Sedrick Hodge, New Orleans Saints- Not Active.
Vonnie Holliday, Kansas City Chiefs- started at Defensive End and had one tackle and one pass deflection in Kansas City's 17-10 victory over Oakland.
Leon Johnson, San Diego Chargers- substituted at Running Back in the Chargers' 26-20 victory over the Browns.

Quincy Monk, NY Giants- Not Active.
Keith Newman, Atlanta Falcons- started at Linebacker and has three tackles in Atlanta's 45-17 loss to New Orleans.
Julius Peppers, Carolina Panthers- started at defensive end and had five tackles, one sack and forced one fumble in the Panthers' 37-17 loss to the Titans.
