UK-UNC history
Kentucky and North Carolina have met three times in women's basketball, with the Tar Heels winning all three games.
The first meeting was in Raleigh, N.C., where Carolina won 73-65 on Jan. 7, 1978.
The two played another neutral-site game during the 1993-94 season, when UNC won 80-75 in overtime on Dec. 31, 1993, at the Citrus Sports Travel Holiday Classic in Orlando. The Tar Heels went on to win the NCAA Championship that season with a record of 33-2, and the UK game was their only overtime contest.
The teams' most recent meeting was on Nov. 29, 2001, when UNC won 102-64 in Chapel Hill at Carmichael Auditorium.
