Time Set for Roy Williams' TV Show

Inside Carolina Basketball with Roy Williams is the head coach's weekly TV show, and this weekend it moves into a permanent time slot. The preview show can be seen Saturday morning at 9 o'clock on Fox Sports South--the cable channel which provides ACC basketball on Sunday night--and a review show airs Sunday at 12 Noon in the Triangle on WTVD/ABC 11.
Saturday's show features Coach Williams narrating highlights of the recent wins over Old Dominion and Davidson. The Davidson highlights can also be seen during Sunday's show along with the big plays from Saturday's game at Cleveland State.
Saturday's 4 o'clock matchup in the Convocation Center will be a homecoming for Jawad Williams. The lanky junior is coming off a career high of 28 points during the Davidson victory, and he'll be the player-guest on this week's program.
Assistant coach Steve Robinson will also be featured. He spent seven years on Roy Williams' staff at Kansas before becoming the head coach at Tulsa. After two years with the Golden Hurricane, he moved to Florida State. Although he didn't win as many basketball games as he would have liked, Robinson brought an air of respectability back to the Seminoles.
Now he's back with Williams, and he believes his head coaching stints will allow him to bring valuable experience to the table for the Tar Heels.
