CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) - Freshman Ivory Latta scored 16 points, and No. 16 North Carolina made 10 of it first 13 shots in a 94-40 victory Saturday night over winless Wofford at Carmichael Auditorium.
Junior Jennifer Nelms, a track All-America at UNC who joined the basketball team in the fall, had career bests of 14 points and seven rebounds in her first start for the Tar Heels (7-1).
Junior guard Brie Bradshaw led Wofford (0-7) with 14 points.
Latta hit seven of 11 shots and Nelms four of eight, keying UNC's 33-for-66 shooting. Carolina has hit 50 percent or more of its shots in five of its last six games.

Wofford never got closer after halftime than 60-24 with nearly 15 minutes to play.
All 21 players that saw action -- 11 for UNC and 10 for Wofford -- scored. Also in double figures for the Tar Heels were McBee (13 points and seven rebounds) and junior guard Leah Metcalf (11 points).
