Led that category by a wide margin in regular-season conference games only (2.50) ... Grabbed a career-high eight rebounds and handed out a season-best seven assists against American ... Also had seven assists against NC State on Jan. 5 ... Tied for the team lead with 14 points against Wake Forest on Jan. 9 ... Scored a season-high 21 points, including three three-pointers to lead UNC to a win at Clemson on Jan. 16 ... Against Duke on Jan. 20, led UNC with 18 points, including an off-balance three-pointer with 24 seconds remaining in regulation that tied the game at 61 and sent it into overtime ... 2001-02 Season Notes: Named to the ACC All-Freshmen Team ... The Preseason ACC Rookie of the Year ... Named to the Preseason WNIT All-Tournament Team ... ACC Player of the Week on Nov. 19 after averaging 21.0 points in her first three games as a Tar Heel ... One of two freshmen to earn ACC Player of the Week honors during the 2001-02 season ... Finished the season ranked sixth in the ACC in assist/turnover ratio (1.27) and seventh in assists per game (3.74) and steals per game (1.94) ... Did not start the Richmond game because she had been bothered by tendinitis in her knees, but came off the bench to score a team-best 22 points, including six three-pointers ... Broke a four-game, 0-for-22 drought from three- point range when she hit two of her three attempts against Tennessee-Martin ... Scored in double figures for the first time in six games with 13 points against Clemson on Feb. 14 ...
