The players' clinics are now full. No walk-ups will be accepted. The coaches' clinic remain open. Forms may be mailed in or faxed to (919) 843-8175.

3-5 p.m.: UNC team practice (optional)

6:15 p.m.: Developing Your Infield (Megan Smith, UNC)
7:00 p.m.: Hitting Mechanics and More (Stephanie DeFeo, UNC Greensboro)
8:00 p.m.: Training Your Team as a Part of Practice (Steve Gisselman, UNC)

8:15 a.m.: The Catching Diet - Skills and Drills (Tanya Spishak, NC State)
9:00 p.m.: Creating a Pitching Practice within Your Team Practice (Beverly Smith, UNC)
10:00 a.m.: Creating the Ultimate Outfielder (Drew Peterson, Campbell)
11:00 a.m.: You Call It - staff panel to answer your questions
11:45 a.m.: Lunch (provided)

Jan. 18, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Option I: Pitching and Catching
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. - Individual pitching and catching sessions
Pitchers - UNC pitching coach Beverly Smith and the UNC pitching staff will cover fundamentals and mechanics of pitching, drills to increase speed, and troubleshooting techniques
Catchers - Learn the fundamentals of catching techniques from former Tar Heel Natalie Anter, now a member of Italy's Olympic Team, and the Carolina catching staff
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - The battery The pitcher-catcher relationship is developed in this portion of the clinic. Pitchers and catchers will throw together, drilling on the following topics: wild pitch coverage, how to set up a batter, framing, giving signals, pitchouts/pickoffs and much more
Option II: Hitting, Base-running and Position Play
9 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Hitting
UNC coaches Donna J. Papa and Megan Smith, along with current Tar Heel players, will lead hitting instruction with informative lectures for all skill levels
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Base-running and Position Play
Improve your base-running techniques and learn the finer points of your position from the Tar Heel coaching staff and players
