NFL Update: Week Fourteen

Week fourteen of the 2003 NFL season was a productive one for two former University of North Carolina football players as they added to their top ten league leading totals.
Leon Johnson, who is rated eighth best in kickoff returns in the NFL, had eight rushing yards on two carries, 40-yards on eight punt returns, 47-yards on two kickoff returns, and one tackle on special teams in the Chargers' 14-7 victory over the Lions.
David Thornton, who is fifth in the NFL in tackles with 124, added eight tackles and two assists in the Colts' 29-27 victory over the Titans.

Sam Aiken, Buffalo Bills- Injured Reserved.
Ethan Albright, Washington Redskins- substituted at long snapper in the Redskins' 20-7 victory over the Giants.
Dre` Bly, Detroit Lions-started at cornerback and had four tackles and one fumble recovery in the Lions' 14-10 loss to the Chargers.
Alge Crumpler, Atlanta Falcons-started at tight end and had five receptions for 57-yards and one tackle in the Falcons' 20-14 overtime victory against the Panthers.
Ronald Curry, Oakland Raiders- substituted at wide receiver in the Raiders' 27-7 loss to the Steelers.
Russell Davis, Arizona Cardinals- started at defensive tackle and had three tackles and one assist in the Cardinals 50-14 loss to the 49ers.
Kevin Donnalley, Carolina Panthers-started at offensive guard and had one fumble recovery in the Panthers' 20-14 overtime loss against the Falcons.
Ebenbzer Ekuban, Dallas Cowboys- not active.
Greg Ellis, Dallas Cowboys- started at defensive end and had three tackles and one pass deflection in the Cowboys' 36-10 loss to the Eagles.

William Henderson, Green Bay Packers- substituted at fullback and had two receptions for 8-yards and one tackle and one assist on special teams in the Packers' 34-21 victory over the Bears.
Zack Hilton, New Orleans Saints- not active.
Sedrick Hodge, New Orleans Saints- started at linebacker and had one tackle and one pass deflection in the Saints' 14-7 loss to the Buccaneers.
Vonnie Holliday, Kansas City Chiefs- started at defensive end and had one assist in the Chiefs' 45-27 loss to the Broncos.

Julius Peppers, Carolina Panthers- started at defensive end and had five tackles and one sack in the Panthers' 20-14 overtime loss against the Falcons.
Jeff Reed, Pittsburgh Steelers- kicked two field goals of 47- and 40- yards and two-point-after conversions in the Steelers' 27-7 victory over the Raiders.
Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis Colts- started at center in the Colts 29-27 victory over the Titans.
rian Simmons, Cincinnati Bengals- started at linebacker and had one tackle and one assist in the Bengals' 31-13 loss to the Ravens.
Ryan Sims, Kansas City Chiefs- started at nose tackle and had three tackles in the Chiefs' 45-27 loss to the Broncos.
