Throughout the 2002-03 season, senior forward Jennifer Thomas will provide TarHeelBlue.com readers with an inside look at the Carolina women's basketball program. This installment is her 12th of the season.
WOW!!! That's the only word that comes to mind when I think about Saturday's game.
Hey Tar Heel fans!! If you all didn't know, we had a very close and exciting game against Austin Peay in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. They were a very good basketball team and I feel they should have been given a higher seed. But, we survived and will face Colorado on Monday.
Enough about basketball. Our trip to Colorado has been lovely! It's weird to wake up and see beautiful mountains outside your window, and there is so much to do here. The mall is great - it reminds me of Southpoint and there are so many different restaurants to chose from. I'd have to say the Cheesecake Factory, where we had dinner tonight, is by far the team's favorite.
Well, that's all folks!! Time for me to lay it down. Oh, our game will be on tomorrow at 9:19 p.m. (Eastern time) on ESPN2. Be sure to watch!
