CHAPEL HILL -- University of North Carolina assistant women's lacrosse coach Claudia Middleton has left the Tar Heel program to pursue other interests, head coach Jenny Levy announced on Thursday.
Middleton joined the Carolina program prior to the 2003 season. Her husband, Ryan, was recently relocated to Pennsylvania for business, and Claudia has joined him there. Middleton was a three-time first-team All-America at Temple University and is a '99 Temple graduate.
"We'll certainly miss Claudia, both personally and for her contributions to our team, but we understand her decision." Levy said. "We wish her all the best in her future endeavors."
