No. 1 Women’s Lacrosse Rolls Over No. 16 Boston College, 21-12

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Top-ranked North Carolina women's lacrosse used career highs in goals and points from Chloe Humphrey to roll past No. 16 Boston College, 21-12, Saturday at Dorrance Field. Humphrey scored eight goals and had three assists for 11 points to lead the Heels to their 31st straight victory. UNC's 31 consecutive victories are now tied for fifth in NCAA history.
In addition to Humphrey's career day, Addison Pattillo matched her career high with five goals, while Eva Ingrilli set a new career high with four goals. Caroline Godine contributed a season-high three assists as well.
The Heels were stellar on the draw, winning the category 21-14 with eight for Kaleigh Harden, matching her career high, and seven for Sarah Gresham. Defensively, Carolina caused nine turnovers and forced B.C into 16 turnovers overall.

- Addison Pattillo started the scoring with a blow by and slotting home past Shea Dolce.
- Eva Ingrilli buried one on an assist from Caroline Godine.
- Boston College ran off two straight but Ingrilli added her second, again from Godine to make it 3-2 Heels.
- Pattillo added her second a few minutes later to make it 4-2.
- Chloe Humphrey used multiple fakes to send Dolce the wrong way and make it 5-2, forcing a BC timeout.
- Humphrey circled the cage and beat Dolce with a bouncer to push the lead to 6-2.
- Darcy Felter with a gorgeous twizzler off a feed from Humphrey to make it 7-2.
- Kate Levy weaved through the defense and bowled one in for an 8-2 lead.
- BC pulled one back with 13:04 left in the second through Molly Discroll.
- Pattillo secured her hat trick with a free-position goal to make it 9-3.
- BC ran off four straight to shrink UNC's lead to 9-7 at 6:59 of the second.
- Humphrey rifled one past Dolce for her hat trick to give UNC a 10-7 lead.
- Humphrey added another after sending her defender the wrong way with a reverse spin move.
- Pattillo with her fourth of the day to make it 12-7 UNC with 1:25 left in the half.
- Levy added her second a few minutes into the second half to make it 13-7.
- Kaleigh Harden scored her first seconds later to make it 14-7.
- Pattillo equaled her career high with her fifth goal to make it 15-7.
- Ingrilli with another to secure her hat trick and give the Heels a 16-7 lead.
- Humphrey with her fifth and sixth of the game, her 15th game of five or more goals, to give UNC an 18-8 lead.
- Ingrilli scored her fourth to open the final quarter off a feed from Humphrey.
- Humphrey scored her seventh on a ridiculous BTB to make it 20-8.
- And another for Humphrey for a career-high eight goals.
